We found it much easier to find a parking spot this year since the parking meters! The cost is very reasonable and between 1 and 4pm (I think) and after 8pm it's free:) So if we got into town, say about 7pm, we only had about a euro to pay up to 8pm. In the evening we always found a spot in the area sort of opposite Cellar la Parra right up to near the roundabout.

Does anyone know the parking restrictions in the Formentor Road at the moment?

Sparky 23-11-2013 00:04

There are none as far as i am aware Marilyn, the meters are only there in the season :).

Thanks Sparky, I seem to remember that there were some time restrictions on the zigzag blue lines but cannot remember exactly what.

The yellow Zig Zag zones anywhere in the Port show a loading and unloading area and are usually Monday to Saturday (inclusive) between 8.30 - 1.30......but do check the sign by each zone as each area is different.

Loading and unloading zones apply all year round and we frequently see cars being towed away by the grua . After the desinganted times, anyone can obviously park there

The blue lines indicate the areas where you have to pay in the summer ;).

Thank you both. I really should have known that after all these years visiting the port, just never park in that area. Daughters OH was a bit concerned that their hire car might be towed but all seems to be well.
