Hi - have just read that there will be an evening market along the front in PP on the evenings of 25th & 26th June.

I think Bella is getting confused with the fireworks in Alcudia, its the fiesta Sant Pere from the 25th - 29th June there with fireworks on the beach there as well. The evening market sounds a great idea

The evening market forms part of the Sant Pere / Fira de la Mar celebrations. The programme is now out. Highlights, other than the market, include folk dance on Sunday (26 June) and Monday (27) evenings, a music performance on Saturday night (the group Piscis - from 22.30), giants procession from 20.00 on the Saturday and sampling of local cuisine from 12.00 on Sunday, courtesy of restaurants Iru, Brisas, L'Illa and Siller.

Friday, 24 June:
21:00: Opening of exhibitions of photography. "Pollensa is sexy" and "Moment". Place: Club Náutica.

Saturday, 25 June:
18:00-24:00: Evening market on the Paseo Anglada Camarassa.

18:00: Arrival of dignitaries for the opening of the fair.

18:00-21:00: Demonstration of the fisherman's trade.

19:00-22:00: Demonstration of artisan trades.

20:00: Procession with giants and "big heads" with accompaniment by pipers.

22:30: Performance by the musical group Piscis.

Sunday, 26 June:
11:00-13:00: Demonstration of the fisherman's trade.

12:00: Sampling of local cuisine (under the charge of restaurants Brisas, Iru, L'Illa and Siller).

18:00-23:00: Evening market on the Paseo Anglada Camarassa.

21:30: Folk dance with the group Sa Sínia.

Monday, 27 June:
20:00: Children's party with the group Giravoltes.

21:30: Folk dance with Aires de la Cala and pipers.

Tuesday, 28 June:
19:00: Procession with the Pollensa drum and cornet band.

19:30: Choir. Petits Cantors Lluires d'Andorra. Place: the church.

20:00: Sardine supper with accompaniment by pipers.

Wednesday, 29 June:
11:00: Solemn mass
