Default November is Feria time

Just back from the lovely Medieval fair in Inca and thought maybe those of you who are here during November may wish to put some other fair dates in the diary. Its a great chance to have a wander and sample and purchase some local specialities as well as products from other regions of Spain which do the feria run! I purchased some wonderful bread and cakes from Galicia and different flavoured salchichon from Austurias. Next Sunday will be the 3rd Sunday fair in Inca which is a run up to the main even DIJOU BO - which this year is held on Thursday 18th November. The largest fair on the Island and it really is huge. Great party the night before this on the streets of Inca. The weekend prior to this - 13th and 14th November is our fab Pollensa Fair which is a great opportunity to catch up with everyone and finally at the end of the month is the SA POBLA fair on the 28th November which this year is dedicated to rice! Have fun and may see you there.

Thanks JMD, very helpful, although am now torn between the Inca party and the Thai night at Nostalgia!! Looking forward to the Pollensa fair though and hope the weather is kind enough to let us wander around dry!

Andrew Eded has kindly just provided me with the schedule for this weekend's Pollensa Fair & it can be seen on our calendar - it's definitely worth a visit if you are about. Do report back if you are lucky enough to go.

The Old town was buzzing this morning as we negotiated our way around the Fira. Plenty of local produce and crafts on display and some humourous touches with a duo acting out the Crash Bang wallop photography of years past, local dancing and even the milkman of times gone by. Good to see so many people out and about on what was a lovely sunny morning. Even the council posed for the pretend photograph!.
