Default Moors & Christians

Can anyone tell me?
In the yearly battle through the streets of the town who decides who will be a Moor and who will be a Christian? Or do you just choose a side and join in?

Hi Deanscroft I think you just choose a side! Many families through the generations will traditionally pick the same side.

It can get quite rough late on in the evening (after a few cervezas!!!) as altho' meant to be a friendly fight it can be a good excuse to settle old scores !!!!

Let battle commence

I asked this question in a PP bar/restaurant and was told those that live in the town are the Christians and those that live in the port are the Moors .

Has anyone got a report on yesterday’s festivities in the Town? I bet its quiet there as usual today on the day after!
