Debs, hope you have finished packing then! Calendar says from 7th to 10th November, so you should have all the fun! We may manage to see 1 day or night!

The calendar says 7-10th Nov (4 days) & was advised by Carl. According to another site the dates are only the Sat-Sun 8-9. I'll try & get confirmation from the Tourist Office.

Please could someone who has been before describe what happens, best time to go, where everything is etc. as we hope to visit it too.

Hi All.

Check out our Photo stream on Flickr, there are 8 pics of the La fira, we enjoyed it so much we're back again this year.

Arts & Crafts, motor bike stunts, equestrianism, lots of stalls etc etc it's great.
Seems to take over the whole town, lots of locals and tourists alike.

Free transport from the port

Sunday is the best day to go, although also the busiest. There are lots of stalls, animals, local goods to sample and buy, motor bike racing, tractor displays, marquees advertising local services.

Parking is chaotic and cars are abandoned everywhere, even up the main road to Pollensa! It's easier to try and park before the main roundabout into Pollensa (just after Eroski) and walk into town.

We will definately visit Pollensa for La Fira when we are over in November.

Default Transport to the Fira

Is it right that there's free transport to the Fira? What does this consist of?

Otherwise I'm assuming that you can get just get the local bus or are they too full that weekend?
