Default Easter break

My son and his girlfriend are out in PP over the easter holidays. They plan to arrive on the Wednesday before Good Friday, and would like to know when everything shuts down and for how long regarding shopping, and would this include restaurants too? Thanks :rolleyes

Well, it looks like they arrive tomorrow so just incase you check the last minute news.. . . . Thursday, Friday and Sunday are official holidays in Pollença area and on Monday in Palma area. However the large supermarkets will be open on the mornings on Friday and Sunday and normal hours the other days. Restuarants do not close for fiestas - it is when they make their money as the locals will be out and about also. Banks, however, will be closed from Wednesday lunchtime until Monday or Tuesday morning and the machines may run out of money as in UK!!!!! Happy Easter.
