19.00: (Puerto Pollensa) Bonfires competition. Visit by judges and dignitaries, accompanied by the pipers Xeremiers Orats.
21.00: Lighting of the bonfires. The demons Ca de Bou light up the evening.
Saturday, 17 January:
09:00: (Puerto Pollensa) Departure by bus from in front of the church (to go to Formentor).
10:00: Traditional parade and blessings.
11:30: Setting off to the Ternelles finca to collect the pine. From the Plaça Almoina.
11:30: (Puerto Pollensa) Traditional parade and blessings.
12:00: (Puerto Pollensa) Arrival of the pine.
12:30: Lunch at Ternelles.
13:30: (Puerto Pollensa) Raising of the pine in the church square.
14:00: Departure of the pine from Ternelles.
19:00: Raising of the pine in Plaça Vella.
Sunday, 18 January:
18.00: Folk dance with the Pollensa farmers' school of dance. Sant Domingo convent church.
Sant Sebastià: Tuesday, 20 January:
19:30: Procession with the image of Sebastian, the standard and mock horses.
21:00: Dance of the offer at the bonfire in the Plaça Major.
Friday, 23 January:
20.00: Meeting of glosadors (folk and satirical verses, poems etc.). Club Pollença.

That is in the Town, everything for the Port says Puerto Pollensa in brackets .

So if one of us can stay sober it is possible to watch the tree climb in both port and town ?
Or cab but after the trouble getting a cab after the moors and Christians I am a bit wary

Or you could do what we did last year CD and watch it on TV while having dinner in Manduca . To be honest you would be hard pressed to get near the tree climb in the Town, it is done in a narrow street.........sardines have more space in a tin.

We too watched it on TV..it must be a nightmare to be jammed in those narrow streets especially having watched the problems they had at one point getting it round a corner

READY FOR SAN ANTONI FIESTAS in Nostalgia.
Reduced winter prices! Live Music Guilermo & The Fab Hustlers, a la carte menú, Barbeque huge Bonfire,Then Fab music D.j. Colin and dancing and Karaoke to the early hours.
doors open at 6pm and fire starts at seven with barbeque, full a la carte menu serving till 10.30, band starts at 10pm ish till 12 midnight ,then Dancing and Karaoke till late.
