Default PP nightlife

Ive been going on holiday to PP since i was a baby, i am now 17. I love the night life in alcudia, and magaluf! although as a teenager i havent got that much money for taxis. And the main square in PP is just as good for me. Chivas is a bit cheesy, i remember last year theyre favourtie tune was 'ive got a feeling' by black eyed peas, if ive heard that song once ive heard it a thousand times!! but its great fun, everyone gets a long, no fighting, the locals are a bit more than friendly wich you have to watch out for but its great fun. i love PP!!!

Never thought I'd hear the words 'PP' and 'nightlife' in the same sentence!

Seriously, I am a bit past (OK, a lot past) clubbing but I am looking forward to visiting the new Buddha Bar - more of a chillout place but sounds good. PP does have a lovely relaxed vibe at night, and as you say there is none of the violence and excessive drunkenness that you see back at home.

I too am well past what would be considered clubbing age but absolutely love rocking with the hustlers in o'haras or hostel Paris and the great atmosphere at batacuda and nostalgia and the emerging vibe at laguna

Have also been known to enter chives but purely for research purposes .... Shan't return but great for teens

Am looking forward to trying Buddah

Best thing about all of the above is that people Re having a great time but compared to a Saturday evening in any uk town centre it's just so "nice"

I agree with what Kate and CD say about the nightlife, there are a lot more places to go late at night now, but still low key and friendly, so unlike here. We came out from Nostalgia after 2.30am and there were still lots of people in the bars and sitting outside enjoying themselves, most of the noise was inside so hopefully not disturbing the neighbors too much. Speaking of the Buddha bar I will bump the thread as we haven't had many reports back yet.

Resto buddha bar is a nightclub extremely busy at weekends with mainly locals, although quieter during the week it is not a chillout bar

Default Los Bandido at Mulligans Tuesday

Great night life is still to be had in PP.

After a fabulous meal at La Laguna last night, we caught Elvis stutting his stuff in Mulligans and then went for a night cap (or was it 2!!) in Nostalgia.

Mulligans have really upped their offering of entertainment this season. Tony L´Ámore will be there this evening (15th July 2011) and cocktails are only 4.95 so not a bad deal.

Next Tuesday they will have a new local band playing. They are called Los Bandidos and I am reliably told that 3 of them are Guardia Civil. Should be a rocking night! :-)

The new cocktail lounge Makkasers in the square looks lovely and I'm sure will become very popular this Summer. Not exactly a club but a lovely chill out bar ..run by Jackie (ex Tribeca). We didn't go in June as we had little bubs with us but have heard very good reports .. will report back after our September trip

I know its away from the square, but the t'other half and I enjoy having a laugh with Miguel in Rustic Cafe. He is open to the early hours, and you get some good local characters in there.
