The Best Pubs Around?
 

Hi,

Been to Puerto Pollensa a lot but just wondering where the best pubs were this summer? And how is Chivas these days ? !

Going next year so just checking this out before I get there.

well, chivas - now i really don't have too much of a problem with the place as it seems to be perfectly innocent but last time i was there(last summer) i experienced a few problems(understatement of the year) as well as other people telling me of things being stollen.
but apart from that, the bars are still pretty much the same. there is one that i personally really liked which was up the street towards the square surrounded by loads of candles - the street next to the one with mulligans up it. but, for some reason cannot for the life of me remember what it is called. like it due to the friendly atmosphere and lack of loud underage teens.

yep, thats it! the R bar - that has been bugging me for ages now.thank you.what did you think of it? what are your favourite bars around - have you been to Pollensa old town itself, as that is lovely - in fact probably prefer it to puerto pollensa.

I was a rep in Puerto Pollensa for 2 summers so Ive probably been in every bar and like them all! I quite liked R bar for a quiet drink as it was so chilled out and friendly.I also liked going down to Casinets next to the Daina cos It was more spanishy in there.Have to admit I did like Mulligans except it was pretty expensive.
Also had a few experiences in cheesy chivas,money stolen etc but did have a good laugh in there.
Unfortunately I only went to the old town once(V.ashamed by that) but Its nice there.

I play with a band - www.zenuk.com - and was just wondering if anybody recalled any that took either 4 piece bands or duos? Any info, names or contacts etc would be very much appreciated.
