Default fun and frolics!

ok well thank you all for the info bout evenings out- been a great help. Just now wondering if ne1 could let me know bout the entertainment along the sea front of puerto pollensa and whether there are any places to avoid (i.e. places that are very commercialized or brimming with dirty old men) - well we are two english girls, could be seen as vulnerable!
Also, just wondering what the hotels are like towards other people when you just go there for a drink and are not staying there, as last year my friend and I were being served but with a really hostile response- maybe there is a rule we were not going by or we did something wrong - just curious. Thank you for any replies.

Lisa,

I cannot think of anywhere in Puerto Pollensa that you should avoid - it really is a very 'nice' resort with the majority of visitors being families or couples.

With regard to buying drinks in hotels, we have never experienced any problems. It can sometimes be a little difficult if they are hoping to serve meals instead - look out for the table cloths & place settings! The Hostal Bahia on the Pine Walk do a lovely, if potent, Sangria & is in a beautiful position as is the Hotel Illa D'Or. Enjoy your holiday!

hi there, i

m staying at the pollensarmar, but can find no reviews on it ???? help would be appreciated...but as our place has no pool bar/snack area, only small terrace, i was wondering if we would be allowed to use the Illa Dor bar/pool/snack area, or is the security tight?? are you obliged to stick to your own apartments ??

Deb
