Default Nightlife in Puerto Pollensa

Hi!

I am coming over to Majorca for the first time in June. I will be staying in a villa just outside PP and am keen to know what nightlife there is! Am coming over with my parents, my sister and my partner. My partner, my sister and I will be looking for something reasonably lively at night. Read some messages about Irish bars, are they still there, anything else we would enjoy or would be need to go to Alcudia and is that quite far?

Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Although PP has only one ( rather cheesy disco ) Chivas there are loads of bars so I'm sure you'll have a great time. A few of the more popular bars are O'Hara's and Mulligans (Irish) R bar and Victors both situated just off the main square .Having said that bars seem to change in popularity from season to season , but the ones mentioned are always busy with locals and holiday makers.

In the old town again you will find some good bars and I've heard through the grapevine a bar/club is opening in May next to restaurant El Cantonet.

Alcudia is the place to go if you want to do some serious clubbing and is only a 10 minute taxi ride from PP.

Hi Debs!

That sounds absolutely fine! We're quite happy having a few bars to keep us entertained! Cheesy disco sounds great and its good to know that Alcudia is only 10mins away. However, I'm sure we'll be fine in PP!

Thanks
Cari

There is a new bar opening on the main road out of the port (Cr Joan XXIII, 82). This was the site of L'Ittaca Restaurant last year and the Roxy Music Bar in previous years

It is called La Rada Tango - Bar and is also advertising dancing classes (Tango, Salsa, Flamenco).

There are tables and leaflets ouside at the moment but little sign of action yet, but I'll keep checking.

We passed this on our way back from Cellar Parra one night. There was about half a dozen couples dancing to Latin American music. It seemed quite interesting, looked as though they may have been having lessons. Definitely one to keep an eye on.
