Local Taxi transfer companies
 

Hi,

Is there any reason NOT to book a taxi transfer from and to the airport with one of the local companies mentioned in the relevant section of this site such as Taxis Conde?

They are charging the 67 euro rate which works out about £50 cheaper than using one of the on-line companies or taking the taxi-transfer option when making a booking with a company like alpharooms.

Any feedback on the service and reliabilty of the local firms would be appreciated.

Can't think of a reason! We used Zarzas taxis (think that is how you spell it) last year and they were excellent. We will definitely be using them again this year.

We have used Taxi Conde for the past 10 years.Jose has always been there to meet us at the airport and pick us up at the villa for our return,he has never ever been late and his Mercedes is an estate so plenty of room for luggage.

Zarza Taxi are very good email zarzataxi@hotmail.com Alicia is very reliable has mini bus type van.

Alicia lifted us last summer and had cold beers and soft drinks in the car fantastic start to the hol lol :)

We decided to travel to and from the resort by taxi this year and using the information contained in this thread I emailed Alicia at Zarza Taxi and made arrangements. Alicia was waiting for us when we arrived and was lovely. It cost us 70 euros for 4 people on the way up and 92 euros for 5 on the return journery to the airport yesterday.

We also contacted Alicia while we were there and booked a 5 seater to take us to a villa close to Pollenca where my sister and her family are staying. The service was excellent, particularly as we didn't really have very good directions to where we were going, and our taxi picked us up at our apartments and came back for us exactly on time. The return journey for 5 was 26 euros and meant we could all enjoy a glass (bottle?) or two of wine without worry. I will definitely use Zarza Taxis again.

we have used Taxi Conde for the last four years, they are always at airport waiting and on time at our appartments to pick us up. Can't fault the service normally email them to book and they usually ring us couple of days before to double check.

We are booked in with them on Tuesday next week. Can't wait!

We've booked with Zarza taxis too, on the 1st Aug. €70 each way for 4 peeps. Very good correspondence from them sofar!
