Hi

no problem on foot, lifts and escalators, just (seemingly) no car ramps once you are inside level 1. Maybe you have to choose the level before you enter the car park, you know what it is like when you are on your way to catch a flight, lots of stress and you don't always take everything in!

One hint though, take your whole entourage with you to get the car - I thought it would be simpler to leave everyone on the ground floor by the exit and go get the car myself, then load up once i'd exited the car park - except I ended up coming out a different exit and had to go all the way out of the airport and back round in a panic to find them again!!!

Presumably you will have to drop your car off at level 4 again when you leave so might be worth finding out how to get to it by car!

Thanks ahmurray for the tip, that’s sounds very sensible to all go together to get the car, I know the one way system is a nightmare there, I nearly always miss the turning on the way back and have to go all the way around again. I will have to take it back to the 4th floor on the way back, so I may have a check before we leave the airport to save time and worry on the way back.
thanks

AHM, that is great news, I have been twitchy after the hassle I had trying to pay them!! Can you remember how much they charged you for fuel?

Must mind and take some euros for parking and fuel.

hi,

Fuel was about £60 but the guy had one of those wireless credit card machines you see in restaurants so no problems paying by card.

Pretty sure that the parking machine also took credit cards.

Hope the weather improves by the time you get there!!

Cheers

Ali

My car is a Modus (same fuel tank as a Kangoo) so I should budget £60's worth too, although a 49 litre tank at 1.30 euros a litre suggests 63 euro, about £50, does that sound right?

I am there late July so should be ok weather wise??

Thanks Ali

I know it can be confusing finding the car park, we too have gone round the one way system many times. There are two entrances to the car park - the first one at the very beginning of the car park is marked Parking and takes you to the upper levels, the second one is further on by the middle of the carpark and walkway, and signed up with the hire car companies like Goldcar, Centauro etc - this one only serves the Ground Floor. Hope this helps.

Hi Ali

No, I had to take the first car they gave me back to Arenal!!! as it was downright dangerous. I spent a fortune on phonecalls and would not use them again.
