Default Help!

Any hints, tips or recommendations regarding value for money and convenience would be appreciated. Which firms will arrange pick up of the vehicle at the airport and allow you to abandon the thing in Puerto P itself?

We have used Autos Abroad www.autosabroad.co.uk for several years on the go. You need to phone to book. You actually end up hiring the car from Atesa (main Spanish company) at the airport. They have always been fine & we have often been upgraded from a Citroen Saxo (smallest) to a Xsara (next size) but you can't rely on it. We always forget that we need to allow enough space for out suitcases!

This year however we are trying SkyCars www.skycars.com because their quote was lower for what we think is the same car & also from Atesa. You get an email quote & then phone to book. Will report back when we've been (last week in May as usual!)

Afraid I don't know about one way hire.

Have just got back - it was lovely & hot. We booked our car with SkyCars which was the cheapest quote & it was fine. The car was from Atesa at the airport. We were upgraded from a Citroen Xsara to a Picasso (bigger) with no charge. The only difference was that we had to pay a 20000 pts deposit via VISA & then get it refunded once the car had been checked for no damage. I don't know if this is new for this year or the reason why SkyCars are cheaper!
