I used EasyCar from Palma to PtoP last week, and did
so at the same time last year.
The cars are all Mercedes A170s. Ours have both had
air-con - I guess that's standard. You can certainly
*carry* 4 adults, but the back seats are not very
roomy. For driving around you'll be fine, but for the
hour it takes to get to PtoP you might be a little bit pushed
for luggage space unless you travel very light. (The
back seat splits 1/3-2/3 and can be folded up so you
can make quite a bit of boot space if you need it.)
If in doubt I suggest you just drop in to your nearest
Merc dealer and nose around their display model! (That's
what I did, but then I'm cheeky like that!)
I didn't have trouble finding the depot - just keep your
wits about you as the shuttle takes you from the airport
to the depot, so that you can follow the same route
back from the motorway - as soon as you reach the first
roundabout by the Hypermarket you can see the bright
orange signs in the distance. Easycar say allow 3 hours
from arrival at the depot to departure time, and who am
I to argue? Early last Friday we left PtoP at 07.30 am and
were waiting in the terminal building for a check-in desk
to open by 09.10 am, including filling up with fuel at
Inca. (There is a BP station on the RHS at the last-but-one
roundabout coming out of Inca, just before joining the
motorway.) But I'd want to allow longer if it was a
busy time for getting the car checked and possibly
waiting for a shuttle to come back from a previous trip.
Down-side about EasyCar is not knowing when the next
shuttle is coming to pick you up from the airport, which
could be as long as 30 mins, and the lack of shade while
waiting - if I did it again I think I might just grab the
next taxi to the depot, which is off-airport.
If you want any more detail, including the route back
from PtoP to the depot, just ask...
