Default Short term parking at Palma Airport

We are due to be arriving in Palma this weekend, with part of our party arriving a couple of days later. We are planning to collect them (we will have a hire car).

Is Palma airport a nightmare to find your way into by road? Is the short term parking area easy to find - do you have to pay to use it?

Finally, how long does it take to drive to PP and is the road good?

See this page for the directions www.puertopollensa.com/Arriving.html It takes about an hour but this depends on the state of the roadworks. Perhaps a resident can let us know how these are doing.

There a standard carpark opposite the terminal which I assume you must pay for. Part of it is only for hire car collect & return.

The new road from Inca is almost complete, but at the moment allow a good hour to travel to Palma as the diversions vary daily and there are sometimes delays, but considering the extent of the roadworks the traffic usually flows quite well.

Re Parking at Palma airport it is very easy, the lower floors are for short term parking and there is always plenty of spaces and quite cheap as well for an hour or so.

Cheers PM.

If u have picked up ur hire car from the airport, then usually just park in one of the car hire company's spaces on the ground floor, have a word with their office to let them know, and so long as it is just for a pick up...I have never had a problem doing it this way.
