Default Parking in PP

We are staying near Pollensa (the old town) and with 2 kids will be driving to the beach at PP. Can anyone tell us how easy is it to find parking near the best beaches eg Pine Walk or the south beach? Or generally in the town? Are there paying car parks, meters or free parking, or all three? And is it easy to understand what the restrictions are?

Any tips most welcome.
Many thanks

Hi,

Parking for the south sandy shore area should be no problem with free parking on both sides of the road, right by the beach.

The Pine walk is for pedestrians only and you will have to park on the roads behind and have a short walk to the beach.

Where the parking lines are blue like on the Formentor road you have to get a ticket from a meter and display it in your car. (April - October)

The car parks in Puerto Pollensa are free, though there is a time limit on the front car park near the harbour.

Hope that helps,
PM.
