Default What GPS are you all Using and how good is it for Palma?

Just curious as I'm about to take delivery of a Garmin 250 which is preloaded with Europe.I'm taking it on my next trip
especially as I had the horrendous experience of getting lost in Palma.

I have a TomTom which I've used out & about in Pollensa & Alcudia to map the hotels - see the location maps on www.puertopollensa.com/hotels_apartments_pollensa.html but we've never actually used it in Palma.

GPS??? We just get in the car, aim it and drive. We always get lost, which is half the fun. We've found some amazing restaurants and fantastic views, just by getting lost. You should try it sometime (but not if you have a plane to catch!) :eek

I have to say that was funny Sandy! My mum has always been the designated map reader (very good she is too!) but I am not sure that she would be happy about being referred to as GPS!
