Default parking when you get to your accommodation?

we're thinking of booking for a week to stay at the Flora apartments in June 2008.

We've always done package holidays before but the thought of all that waiting around for coaches and drop off etc etc is putting us off (especially as we've got a toddler and a baby!)

One of our concerns is,when we get to the accommodation is parking a problem? Do you have to pay for parking? Do aparthotels have their own car parks?

Just as an aside: what's the journey time from Palma to Puerto Pollensa if we're driving ourselves (and don't get lost and traffic is clear)

Thanks

Hi aquqtina,
Welcome to the forum.
There is plenty of on street parking very close to Aparthotel Flora, all of which is free!! In the centre of the village, there are Blue Zones where you pay to park during certain hours during the day.
The journey from the airport takes approximately 45 minutes on average, road conditions permitting. The route we take is along the motorway towards Palma to the second exit (Via Cintura), turning onto the Inca motorway, taking the exit to Pollensa.
Hope this helps.

As PeRu say no worry about parking near the Flora.

An alternative route to the Via Cintura (ring road) can be seen here: www.puertopollensa.com/Arriving.html#bycar You should be provided with a map by your Car Hire company.

we followed Pollensa's directions last year and thought it was much quicker.
