Default Beware of Speed Cameras

Majorca Daily Bulletin
has an article on Speeding Fines...
Two thirds of fines are in Calvia, but the second highest is from the camera outside Pollenca on the road to the motorway and Sa Pobla!!
There is a map showing the speed cameras here

Take care out there...don't speed...

Remember, Spanish fines can be enforced through a UK magistrates court.

Got nicked once on the MA13 once, which is a bit stupid as they are well sign posted. Am much more observant now!

I see in the Bulletin that there are calls for the speed limit on the MA13 to be reduced to 80kph.

I think they'd need a lot more cameras if they did, as 120kph seems slow to me when I am impatiently driving to PP after a long absence!

Apparently the lack of traffic, due to the Covid restrictions, has led to increased speeding incidents in a number countries.

Well, Ive just received my ticket for €100, got done on the MA2200 100kph on 90 stretch, wish I’d known about them beforehand. If I pay within 20 days it’s reduced to €50 bank transfer only, I can’t see option to pay by credit card, unless someone can advise differntly.
