Hi,
I am sure I have read on the forum previously of a bus service from the airport to the port, can someone please offer advice?
Many thanks in advance.

Hi there, if you scroll through this section there are loads of posts on this subject. The public bus is the cheapest option at under €6 but of course it depends on your flight times and how quickly you want to get here.

holiday taxis
parents have just booked bus shuttle through holiday taxis via easy jet site, at bottom of home page (to from airport) £9.90 each way, idea if flight doesn't tie in with public bus.

Hi, I've just done a whole load of research on this myself as we are coming out to PP next Saturday (can't wait! After 4 holidays in PP, we went for the cheap option and went to Cornwall last year. It rained every day. Hence back to PP this year!) but my daughters boyfriend is not flying out until the Monday, so he's got to make his own way from the airport!!
Anyway, the number 1 bus runs from the airport into the main bus station in Palma - it runs about ever 15 minutes and costs 2 euros.
Then, from there you catch the number 340 which comes out to the port, takes about 1 hour and costs 5.55 euros. Timetable is here http://www.caib.es/sacmicrofront/arc...44992&id=44992.
You can't go wrong really - okay there will be a bit of waiting around in Palma, but for less than 10 euros I don't think you can complain - the villa rental company we're using said that they could organise a taxi transfer for him, but that would have been £90 each way!
Good luck!

The resort hoppa is excellent and is about 20 Euros return - not sure how much for 1 way. You pick it up from the airport and it brings you to the port. I'm sure there must be info on this site somewhere. We have used it many a time and can recommend.

Sunny - I would be very eager to hear how your parents get on with the easyjet transfer as it sounds very cheap!

Do make him aware that he must get off the bus in Placa Espana - the bus station is now underground so it may be quite obvious now - as my son did this trip last year and they entered up much further on, by the cruise ships, & had to get the next bus back to the bus station!

Welcome to the forum sjk, try this link TIB - Transport públic de Mallorca - Autobús, Tren, Metro, Bicicleta - CTM, the bus does stop in Pollensa Town close to the childrens play park and yes it's the 340 .
Of course you have to get the No 1 from the airport to the bus station first.

This link might be useful too:
http://www.forum.puertopollensa.com/...irport-pp.html
It's very easy, the 340 leaves from stand 7 and not 5. The bus times might change at the end of this month, but the service from the airport (No.1) is every 15 minutes.
