Default Ma-30 Road. Airport yo AlCampo Junction

I dropped someone off at the airport the other day and as the traffic going back along the Ma-20 was awful, i took the Ma-30 for the first time in years.

I was surprised, and pleased, to see that they are creating a proper dual carriageway. The last third near the AlCampo junction is already done.

When finished, it should take at least 5 mins off the airport journey.

Anyone know when it is scheduled to be completed?

Chris

The section up to Alcampo, which is about half of the length of the road has been open for almost 3 years now. The other works started and ground to a halt and all the workforce left. Some of the approach embankments had been dug and other preparation works. Work restarted at the beginning of this year, I think. Probably a funding issue.

They are now pressing on with the middle section, starting to put the first layers of tarmac down and getting flyovers/roundabouts in place
