Default New Bus Service from Airport - Aerotib

The new direct bus service from Palma Airport to Alcudia is due to start on 3rd May - Service A32. By using the bus from Alcudia to Puerto Pollensa (every 15 minutes) this may prove to be a useful alternative to the conventional public transport route.

Thanks for the update, no times yet though, but as you say it would be worth a try next time

Great, thanks I couldn't see them when I looked, we might try this route next time as we get in to Palma in between buses and would have to wait a bit

Please can this be moved back to Airport Transfers where I originally posted as I think it is more relevant to that thread then it is to the Alcudia thread.

Most people will look at airport transfers for bus services from Palma Airport.

Thank you

Default Sunday bus service

HI All
I'm flying out on 6am flight on 17th Sept. A Sunday for a few days,
And thinking of using the new bus from the airport up to. Alcudia
Then round the coast to the port
Has anyone used this service on a Sunday and did the experience any problems with the number of people using the service, a bit worried about waiting over a hour for the bus then finding you can't get on due to numbers.

I used it on a Monday 2 weeks ago, and thought it was great. Nobody wanted to get off at Inca, so the driver stayed on the motorway straight to Alcudia. Stepped on the bus at Alxudia and the bus to along to Port de Pollença was just pulling up and we jumped straight on.
My only worry for the service is how quiet it is. I could see them stopping it if it doesn't make enough money.

Hi pocket buddy
I'm going tobe short on time to catch the early bus from the airport to Alcudia, so could you tell me where outside the terminal I can catch the bus.
Regards
Rebel.

As you come out of the doors at arrivals, head towards the car park. Cross the road just after the taxi rank and just on the left there is a little shelter to wait in.

Hope this makes sense!!!

Yes, so just along on the left where I would normally catch the number 1 bus to Palma.

Yeah that's it! As you cross the road (after the taxi rank) you would go slightly to the right for the No. 1. But for the result buses go slightly to the left. If you're facing the car park, that's where the buses would pull up, as opposed to facing back at the terminal for where the No 1 stops.
