Taxis and baby seats
Could anyone advise me please..... I want to visit PP in September, and my baby will be 10months old...... What happens with taxis and baby seats? We are debating about a hire car so trying to decide!!!!!
Thanks |
Congratulations on your baby :)
I'd say most taxis would only have a booster seat, rather than a proper child seat for a 10 months old baby. Some airlines will transport a child seat for free. You'd be better off bringing your own, as some of the rental car child seats might be very basic and come September have pretty much a whole season behind them (if not more). You could also transfer to PP via bus (with the baby on your lap), and hire a child seat from Multi-Hire for part or all of your holiday for getting around or using it in a locally rented car. http://www.multi-hire.com/baby_acces...allorca?page=1 |
I would recommend Zarza taxis. Reliable and good baby seats and boosters. They advertise on this site and are based in the Port.

Quite simply - if you hire a car you will be breaking the law if you do not have the appropriate child safety equipment properly fitted, be that a carrycot restraint, childseat or buster seat, on the otherhand taxis are exempt!
