appreciate you want to do this as a cheapie but do look at ebookers

I booked a nice nearly new polo from saturday morning until tuesday evening last week for £39 ….. fuel was full full , cost me less than 10euros to top up fuel. It was via Hertz …… even for 1 it seemed too cheap to bother with the bus and if there are more of you its even better

Also if you book via the mobile app there is currently 20% off

by the way - you do know that the only flights north of London are Easyjet from Liverpool on tuesdays of Saturdays donT you ……. and if you know otherwise PLEASE let me know

Hello Gers.......don't discount a hire car they are pretty good value in winter......just had a quote from Hiper for 11 days in Jan 2014 (St Antoni)....128 euro, fuel full to full and this for a economy plus vehicle.
Looking forward to being back in PP....its a special place with special people.

Hi Gers.....I could'nt agree more......go for it and have one on the plane for me.
My partner is in reliant on a wheelchair so in summer when we come out for June and Sept I have to bite the bullit and book taxis.
Buses are not wheelchair freindly !! and hire cars for the month are too expensive so I book via Zarza........ouch....73euros each way.....its worth it though.
Enjoy your trip.
Regards......1999

i know exactly what you mean 1999 as wifes uncle was in a chair for many years on our visits, we often hired a fiat multipla car when they were popular thats what he found best to get in and out of himself, taxis were too tight for him he couldn't swing his legs in on his own and didn't like help to do so

he's long gone now but your mention of wheelchair tonight has reminded me of departed friends and good times in years gone by so thanks for that

i did the bus journey yesterday(sunday) and quite enjoyed it. 3€ from airport bus left within 5 mins took 10 mins to get off at Placa Espanya. i had just missed a bus so had to wait 90 mins but i found a nice little bar at the back of the square opposite the station, talk about cheapie, it was one euro for a large beer and all the snacks were small baguettes, chips, dips, cheese, ham etc.. were all one euro each as well.it was called Cerveceria M.... something ,top end of the square near a burger king. nice place to watch the world go by.. for an hour. The bus to PP then left spot on time 6.25€ to the driver and it took an hour and 5 mins. Now that I know how it all works would do it again especialyy if theres just one or 2 people travelling without to much luggage. Might try and miss the PP bus again as well so I can go to the Cerveceria.
