Exclamation Ruta del Tapeo. (Tapas Recipe books).

They advertise a great looking Tapas book on the site, but cant trace it for sale anywhere - let alone in English. Anyone seen it anywhere? Author Mikel Iribarren.

P.S. The title of the book is "1450 recetas de tapas"

Thanks Sparky. It's good to have these type of books back home in the UK to try easy bits out too, never taste the same of course, but its good to try - and I like the photos! If anyone comes across it, please let me know.

We've got a few books listed here PuertoPollensa.com - Books, Maps, Guides, Holiday Reading & if anyone can recommend any more, we'll add them.

But as Sparky says, do join the Ruta & post your photos, of course....

We have bought many cookbooks from the newsagents in C/Formentor, some in English. One is called "Classic Tapas" published by EDARA EDICIONES, S.L. CORDOBA.

So will 'Casa Sparky' be participating in the Ruta del Tapeo then?

Last year we had a Tapas Open Day at our home in aid of the local hospice -- 20 different tapas with red and white rioja - - made over £1200 - wonderful recipes, hard work but great fun - most of the recipes from a great little M&S book of tapas. I suppose we could swop tapas recipes -?? Yes, they are never the same when we cook them - but as not able to taste the 'real thing' most of the time - home cooked is better than nowt ! Tibbles:cool

Well done you Tibbles that is a fantastic amount of money to raise for a good cause.
Tapas and PP go together well and i'm sure there must be many wonderful recipes to share and if yours with rioja can produce £1200 then I'm sure we would all buy your book Tibbles. Well done!
