Default Guide books

In preparation of our trip I bought the AA Mallorca Top 25 Sights, seemed handy to carry around, however on reading it the emphasis seems very largely on palma. However there is a very good map in the back.
Took this website's recommendation for Time Out Mallorca - looked in local bookshops, none in stock, can order for £12.99, again took this website's advice and ordered through Amazon, here in a day, £9.09, and has a wealth of info on the whole island and I would imagine anything you could possibly want to know! Thanks again PuertoPollensa.com people, what stars you are!

Any ideas about holiday reading (apart from guide books), or is this not for that.
Is there anywhere that does a book swap while there?8o

Hello Penny,

A great read whilst in Mallorca is Peter Kerr's trilogy of books about his time as a fruit farmer near Andratx.

There are still a lot of messages about these books on the old forum that the hackers didn't get to. See p221.ezboard.com/fpollensaforumfrm9 (link aded by webmaster)

His new book "A Basketful of Snowflakes" is out this month.

Not sure about book swaps in PP - we generally read any books left at the villas we have rented and I always leave my summer blockbuster behind when I leave for the next occupants.

Regards
Jane
