Default Pollensa Guide

Last year whilst on holiday in Puerto De Pollenca we managed to pick up a free, glossy magazine that offered loads of info about the resort, where and what to eat, bus time-tables etc and loads more info. I know that this web site & forum provides all this info but I was wondering if, to save printing off dozens of pages from this site, the magazine is available once again this year, what it is called and where I can pick one up? If anyone does know please could you let me know asap as we depart the UK on the 9th August.

Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Is it called "Holiday in Puerto Pollensa"?

I have a copy in front of me that is for Summer 2005 and it's packed with info.

It was free but can't remember where I got it.

Oh yes I can, sorry! Our hotel reception had copies but I have also seen copies in villas we have rented.

Makes for a great read whilst you're there.

Regards
Jane

Thanks for the prompt reply. Glad it's available once again this year and will keep my eyes posted for a copy.

The tourist office is now in a new office by the taxi rank & bus station next to the Marina. More about the magazine here:

This is one of the highlights of our visit to PP. We always bring a copy home with us. The front covers are fantastic and a joy to look at on a winters day.
All that and I didn't even mention the contents lol.

It seemed to be everywhere, I think it was in the supermarket and various shops.
We also took the Time Out guide which was excellent.
