Isn't it just typical, for the first time in years the beach is ready for the official start of the season and the flippin weather goes pear shaped .

Something to shelter under during a light spring shower perhaps? Don't knock the fact that they are up already though, the weather will soon change!

It was a general turn of phrase Sparky, not a personal accusation! They will be up for use for the full season now - come rain or shine!

The beach looks a mess after all the rain. Just driven up from Alcudia and there are loads of upturned beds, some that have been blown around the beach and others that are half submerged in the sand that has been churned up by the high tide

Good photo lollipop! What a shame though. Now it will give the council the opportunity to hint that its the right thing to wait a while before they put the beds and brollies up!!

Good photo Lollipop, I did think though that they had put them up a bit close to the sea!

Default Sunbeds & brollies

After some pretty strange weather, the beach near Little Italy looked more like a lawn. It's covered in the strange green fluffy seaweed this morning. However, the men with rakes and the beach tractor have sprung into action. The beach is already being cleaned up and I'm sure it will be back to looking gorgeous again soon.
And dare I say, the sun is even trying to peek through the clouds......

That's great Lorenzo and i think this proves that the council made a good decision by sticking with this company to manage the beach again .

Yes clean up definitely on the go,all beds stacked higher up the beach. Whaley, they weren't that close to the sea where the picture was taken ,the sea came a long way up, judging by the tell tale line of wet sand and sea weed.
