Question Tamarells

Can anyone tell me if the beach is ready for the season ie:has it been cleaned and are the brollies and beds out yet?. Also is the beach bar open, it's one of my favourite places for a spot of people watching. Only 21 days to go .

We came back last Saturday

Beach bar was open but no umbrellas on Beach yet

However, tractors were out preparing the beach so it shouldn't be long now

Default Tamarells

Thanks CD, i remember one year on our May visit there were sand dunes and debris everywhere. For any PP virgins it was not a good impression , i know if it had been my first time i would never have gone back, thankfully its not been like it since.

Hi,

We went past there today and the polls for the umbrellas are placed on the beach and should go up soon.

Tamarells was busy with people enjoying a lovely hot day here in PP......

Thumbs up RE:Tamarells

Thanks for the update Pinewalkstroll, 14 days to go and i can indulge in a bit of people watching from the beach bar. I've been on the webcam today and the weather looked great, unlike here in Plymouth where it is cold and wet

www.bhigroup.com then select bottom right. It is working at present but sometimes they are down so you have to keep trying. Worth the trouble.

Marilyn

Many thanks, looks cloudy tonight though - bit different to the the south coast of England which is fine and dry, hope the weather is good there next week.

Thanks for your help

Best wishes

Nicky

Well lets hope our new wave of PP virgins don't feel the same after the recent beach fiasco!

I don't quite understand what your point is Favie as that was 3 years ago and there are no sand dunes or debris on the beach in PP now.

About first impressions Sparky, ......that's all, it is getting very bad publicity on another well know forum. I hope folk can see by it and appreciate all the good PP has to offer and return again and again and NOT be put off by it.

Read in the Ultima Hora today that Tamarells has still got it's "Blue Flag" status.
