Oh I am so excited about the sand sculptures (notice a theme? - I am excited about everything lol)

Although I am a tad worried my 2 year old tries to trash them?!

Default Sand sculptures

Just wish some people who stand and admire would put their hands in their pockets and throw some loose change, it's amazing the amount of people who take photo's etc, but just walk on without contributing.

This is good news. We are going for the first time next week and have seen the pictures of them. Mind you, my boy better not say: "Can we make one like that, Dad".

Well they are back or are they.? The sand sculptures re-appeared in the middle of last week. We had two castles and an elephant. They were a little further over than previous years. And as you might guess, they are no longer there. A night of torrential rain last Thursday and some kids did for them. They are no more.

Adios Dave

Well ... since they are made of sand I am sure they can build some more.

This is my type of building work. !! And good news they are back today. When I passed yesterday more castles were being built. Hopefully they will last a bit longer this time.

I am glad the sand sculptures are back as we are hoping to take the grandson this year. The stroll down the pine walk wouldn't be the same without them.

Oooh we love sand sculptures. My oldest is some sort of engineer-to-be as we can leave him in the sand all day (when he remembers his sun block/hat) and he'll happily build sand castle after sand castle, each one more detailed than the last.

I hear there's 3 main beaches, but it's hard to know which ones have good sand?

Any help would be so great! Thanks!

These never cease to amaze me and I am glad to report that we always put some money in their pot!
