Default How sunny and warm?

This is a really silly question...but here goes,

Is it warm enough to get into the sea? Use outdoor pools?

I live in Scotland and am used to pretty much cold weather all the time lol. I have never been on a sunny holiday before and I have been checking the weather every day for the last week or so and it seems to be averaging around 20c with sunshine with some clouds.

Is this warm enough to get on the beach in a swim suit?? Also everyone keeps telling me it is a different type of heat and I have no idea what that means lol. I have been to Benidorm once, about 10 years ago in Novemeber and it was cold lol!

I fly out in a weeks time and I guess I am just starting to worry about my packing, as I have bought a bunch of summery/beach clothes and shorts etc and i am now starting to worry I am being a bit optimistic.

Although i can't guarantee sun every day, i can tell you that it is more than warm enough for the beach.
So pack all your summer gear and maybe a light weight jacket or sweater just in case you need it in the evenings, you know how it is, sometimes you have a bit too much sun and you feel a little chilly later.
