Cool

I wonder what happened to them then? We were out end of May and they were there then. Perhaps the land tax was too much for them!!

Ahh....they were early this year, I didn't realise....I was surprised not to see the sandcastles too. I visit the same time each year; end July - beg Aug. and there they have been proudly standing.... so beautiful & amazing. Other than that.... a wonderful holiday as always...

think about it, how many people walk past? even if 1% of those people donate something to you, your quids in!

What i was told was there were a few towards the begining of the summer, however we had a bit of a wet spell in pp through may, obviously sand + Rain = no money for the sculpters! so they had to fins a drier spot...

Just got back after 2 weeks in the very hot sun.
No sand sculpters to be seen, which was a bit of a shame.

Default Sand sculptures

Just back home this afternoon from 10 day stay in PP. Had a really fab time! We were sorry not to see any sand sculptures during our holiday BUT lo and behold! yesterday afternoon (ie Friday 8 August) a very beautiful castle appeared on beach close to the beginning of the pedestrian area. Just rounded off our holiday nicely!

I am glad to hear the Sand Sculptors are back. We love to stand and watch them at work, i think they are very talented and if they can make a few euros for doing it then why not, good luck to them.

I love to see them, late evening all lit up with nightlights! I'm really pleased that they are back, they can have my euro next holiday. Definately worth every cent.

Just checked the picture - it was taken on the 8th August this year. You can check by downloading the photo and looking at its properties!!

They seem to be back, but not that often. I think I only saw three in a fortnight and two of those were serpents, not the usual castles I remember.
