Joanne

I think it was €11 a day when I was in PP in May 08.

Thank you for the reply. We are usually there for 9am to 6pm most days so good value for us

if you go daily, that's over a hundred quid for 2 weeks though!...

we bought sun chairs and a parasol on offer at Alcampo for around 50 Euros last year!

Shotokan,

Spot on. well worth it and either hand them on at the end or bin them properly.

We normally do the same as Joanne, on the beach for a few hours almost everyday, but it is expensive over the 2 weeks. Shotokan's idea sounds good to me. Where is Alcampo? And Jimbo, what do you mean 'hand them in at the end' when you've finished with them?

Sunbeds

There are now two charity shops in the Port.
Why not give your beds to the charity shops when you have finished with them?

I know people who check the charity shops when they arrive for li-los, buckets and spades etc. They buy from the charity shop and give them back at the end of the holiday. It makes things a lot cheaper!

Re-cycle!

I hope this is useful.

Frito.

Where are these charity shops? this sounds a good idea.

Charity Shops

Salvatex (Salvation Army) is opposite Flora Apartments/British Food Shop
on Mendez Nunez.
The Alan Graham Charity for Kids (Abused Children) is on Metge Llopis.

Once you find the Salvatex shop, go towards the sea, pass Pepe's Bar, and take the first right towards the square.
The Alan Graham Charity shop is towards the square on the right-hand side, (opposite Bar Naciente).

Cheers!

Frito.
