On the beach 2019.
 

The tractors have been out, work has started on getting the beach ready for a new season ;).

Yippee. Not long for us now.

The windbreaks are being removed ;).

Are those the posts for the umbrellas being put up already I see on the webcam?!:D

Yes they have started putting up the brollies ;).

That was a busy morning shift.
There was only sand this morning and the tractor arriving.
Must get paid per post ;)

Beds are out now too, and no, i don't know how much they cost ;)

Same as last year - 22 euros for brolly and 2 beds at Pine Walk end - 15 euros on South Beach

The season is almost over so they have started thinning out the beds and brollies ;).

We were there last week.The funny part is that we had a VERY disgruntled attendant who tried to charge us 22 euro for sitting under a shade that had no chairs . Naturaly we moved even after trying to explain that when we sat there it was in the sun. !! He even moved a family with two tiny tots from an umbrella without chairs still demanding 22 euro . Disgraceful , not only taking away the view , demanding money for just being there. Not a good Advertisment for P.P . ( Yes I understnd the franchise system etc. but come on )

We are not beach people but saw this happening a few times, I believe over all PP is not the carefree resort it used to be, now it is how much money can we get the tourists to pay. The following happened to us three times in bars, paying bills for drinks that come 19, 24, or 29 euros and having to ask for the change. Staff just assuming that they can keep the odd euro is not acceptable, but it happens.

We go to the beach every day we are there and have never seen anything like that but the umbrellas and beds are always in place then The beach attendants are always friendly

Also never been cheated in a bar or Restaurant and dont know anyone who has

We have.....on more than one occasion, in several different restaurants 🙁
