Default Swimming restrictions at Albercuix beach

My nephew has told me that there are signs restricting/advising against swimming in the sea at Albercuix beach today due to pollution.

The Council say that water tests have been carried out and are stating that the old discharge pipes are currently unable to cope . Water board workmen have been spotted rodding some of the drains near in Calle Formentor.

It's still in effect today, confirmed by one of the pedallo staff.

From and to where exactly is this 200 mts stretch of beach ?

We were swimming from Pine Walk beach only 5 days ago, and very enjoyable it was at that time.

I believe it's around the Little Italy area.

It's still sign posted today, and it's from the jetty by Coral and Laroc towards the I'lla Dor hotel for about 200m. It looks clear when paddling across in a kayak.

Good news!
The Green Flag is flying on the beach in front of Little Italy again so it's ok to swim.
