Default Beach to right of harbour

Hi all
Wonder if you could help me please? We visited the beach to day at PP and went on the one to the right of the harbour and Stay. There were plenty of people and families there. However, as you regulars will know, there was a horrible, sharp, rubbly-type stone strip a few feet that ran along the length of the beach that was impossible to go over. Where should we go that has nice, safe sandy beach for our children?

I don't go on that bit of beach but if you go a bit further down, beyond the Sail and Surf, the beach is clear and no rubbly stones at all
