looks like another beach bar being built.right at the end of the sandy beach opposite llenaire and swing restaurant.noticed the new wooden shack and gazebo type structure while on my 5 mile morning run

Just seen some pictures on FB of the new beach bar, la Roca beach club,
down opposite restaurant swing, it looks great, more upmarket than Embat.
Guillermo was there singing, food looks good and drinks as we'll mojitos 4.50!
Another new place to try in September, good news all these new places starting up.

I dont think they will compete with each other, Embat is a very laid back place with just snacks, the new one looks more of formal place with a fuller menu, horses for courses!!

Had lunch there on our day off Monday, not formal at all. Very friendly staff and very good chicken & chips

LOL!!! .....seriously though, they did have horses yesterday ....but i think it was just a one off for the fiesta

I meant more formal that Embat, which wouldn't be difficult as their uniform is shorts and bare feet!!The food looks good in the picture!

How lovely! They should do that more often. Riding on the beach is bliss - my daughters did it from Rancho Grande in April and loved it. A pity you can't normally do it in PP!
