I have read in today's Daily news a warning about Jellyfish. Does this mean that they have returned to PP ?

Sorry Tony, cant give first hand report, only what I have heard from Pp visitor already there. We are going out Saturday too, but going South for a week first. Not being a great sea lover it wont worry us too much, but do like to paddle around the fish in Pine walk sometimes! Dont think the jellyfish will come that close, but depends on how warm the water is. Tide wise, you may find some washed up on the beach and they can still sting. Tentacles are transparant so try to get kiddies to wear plastic sandles.

Frank,

We returned last week after a two week holiday and did'nt see a single jelly fish.
Thae kids spent a large part of the holiday in the sea, so i would'nt worry to much.

We did see one parent take their son to the first aid station saying that he had been stung.

Have a great time

Just returned from a week swimming every day in the Pine walk area of the sea, no sign of any jellyfish.

My son got stung by one of the little beggers last week in CSV it was only as big as 2 pound coin but still left a nasty mark the life gaurd applied some cream and he was ok. Must say that we only saw about 5 jelly fish in 2 weeks of holiday. So not exactly plague proportions.

Got back last week-end and we only saw 5 or 6 tanks one last week when the sea was rather choppy. However some friends travelling with us went on a trip to Port Soller and told us that the boat was surrounded by them.
So the pest are in the area !

Hello there again,
Just back from our annual pilgrimage to Pine Walk. Thought I'd just post my jelly fish findings for this year!
The sea was very clear and calm so easy to see the jellies but pleased to annouce that we only saw 1 or 2 a day and these seemed much smaller than last year. So much so that my husband offered to get stung by one just to prove that it wouldn't hurt! Oddly he chickened out the next day.....
