Impossible to say.

The rents paid on the front and the Pine Walk are extremely high, whereas you could rent a shop on Joan XXIII for anything in between 800 and 1.200 a month.

The locals generally prefer to keep them empty than to drop prices, that´s why there are so many empty ones in town.

Rates, including water, rubbish collection (varies depending on type of business ), IBI etc, depending on where they are and if the owner passes them all one could be anything in between 1.000 to 1.500 a year.

The real cost for any business are the staff and the social costs, which are around 40% of the salary paid.

Staff also get a months bonus every 6 months months, whether or not the business makes any money.

The social costs are also charged on these bonusues.

Maybe someone with more knowledge than me on this matter would like to give their opinion.

I've never been to the place much but with a position and following as they seem to have I'd have thought they'd stay open most of the year, at least during the day.
Nothing up that end open at all.

Grill Siurell (Julie's) stays open virtually all year round - it's in Llenaire.

Thanks MdR. I am bringing out 11 hungry and thirsty golfers next week from 10 - 13 November (have also posted a Ruta comment) and it will be nice if we can go to some places that we have not already frequented on previous November trips.

I understand that it will depend on the weather and as next week's is looking a bit iffy they may decide to call it a day.
