No doubt we will be checking it out next month.
Best takeaway roast chicken is Golden Lion. We have in the past even seen other restauranteers , we will not name them, buying them in bulk. Including a bottle of their wonderful gravy.
Highly recommended.

Can highly recommend both Al Fresco and Mattarello, after using them both over the last couple of weeks. Wasn't sure about Al Fresco when I read the menu, it seemed very English in its offerings, but when we went in and spoke to them found that they do a few local dishes, had really good Tumbet, Torlilla, and meatballs all home made. Mattarello just up the main drag from Eroski City more Italian in style but excellent home made food which varies daily.

Al Fresco is run by an Irish lady and her Mallorquin husband so it’s a lovely international mix of food and flavours. The homemade quiches, tortilla and assortment of salads are lovely as is their suckling pig, tumbet, and albóndigas, which just need reheating in the oven. Perfect for a night in.

Sandwiches, bagels, baguettes ,wraps and salads are all made to order, and are brilliant for picnics on the beach too

Suckling Pig? Didn't see that last unfortunately, do you have to order it, it's one of my favourite dishes to have. Thanks

The traditional dishes are prepared daily so I think it’s what they have on the day. Might be worth asking if it can be preordered.

Has anyone tried the new deli in Carrer de les Monges, called L'Epicurien yet?
It's run by chef owner Nabile Tine who used to be in charge of the kitchen at Il Giardino in Pollensa apparently.
It's opposite Hostal Bellavista and going by the Facebook page the choice of food (and drink) looks really lovely. It's on our list of places to try next week.

I’d be very interested to hear how you enjoy it, and what the prices are like. We looked at it but we’re put off by the total lack of any visible pricing of what’s available.
