Could anyone give me the name of the take-away cabin that is located just up from the roundabout at the bus station heading up towards the square ?
It does burgers , hot dogs , chips etc.
Passed by it a few times and it always looked very busy.
I presume that it must be half decent for a quick junk food fix or snack ?

And it's a yes from me too - useful at night for a reasonably priced Chip or Burger/Hot Dog to nibble on way to Square or Apartment. And yes, still there after all these years - must be doing something right!!!

Wasn't El Kiosco called Vimpy when it was on the front? I love their egg cheese burger and the 1 foot long hot dogs - or is it now 0.33 metre hot dogs?
El Gordo and scouse mark like this.

It sounds like Take eat easy has been sold and is being readied for opening by new people, does anyone have any more info on this, and where the owners might have moved to?

Just posted elsewhere to say that old chef will still be in the kitchen and that the new owners are apparently planning to run it more or less as before.

I wouldn't be so sure of that, many new owners say that and inevitably make changes, and if they are not vegan and lovers of raw food like the previous owners I would guess they will change the menu also. When we spoke to them in September they had enjoyed a great season and were all ready talking about this year, I hope they are coming back and opening up somewhere else as their food was wonderful with many vegan and vegetarian dishes
