Default Restaurants in April

Hello,

Going out to villa between old town and the port for a week from 4 April. Would appreciate any recommendations for restaurants that are open at that time. Will be there with my partner Sheila and our 13 yr old daughter Emily. Emily is a very keen swimmer and wondered if there are any hotels/clubs with heated swimming pools (and Spa facilities?) that allow non residents/members access - happy to pay day membership - in case weather is too cold for villa pool/beach (although it has to be pretty chilly top deter Emily).

Hi there JimP,

See my thread "Good restaurants that are open in March?" we go on the 4th March and it'll be our first Spring visit to the resort (we've had lots of summer jolies there!). You'll see lots of recommendations for restaurants that'll be open in March and i'd expect April to be even better!

Cant recommend Spas but i've heard lots of good reports about the Hotel Son Brull.

Happy Holidaying in the resort anyway, Vikki x

Default pools

Duva apartment complex, (behind Habitat by the roundabout at the start of Pto Pollensa on the road from Pollensa) has an indoor heated pool, gym, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Complex itself is not yet open but don't be put off as the pool etc facilities stay open all year round for the use of anyone

Hello Vikki and Ann,

Thanks to you both for the information - it is appreciated. The Duva complex looks particularly interesting Ann and I'll try and find out some more about this. The restaurants in your March thread look great Vikki and I'm looking forward to sampling them already.

Thanks again,

JimP

strongly recommend Son Brull!
Formentor Hotel may be worth visiting that time of year?
Balaixa pool may be a bit bracing, but the restaurant has to be a must!

Thanks Penny,

I've emailed Son Brull, Duva and Hotel Formentor to ask if they allow non resident access to their facilities on basis of a dailly fee/membership. We have tried Balaixa in the past and will definitely return.

Hello Webmaster,

Thanks for the information and I take your point about using a more appropriate section. The bit about the waterparks was actually posted by my daughter in my name - the wee besom!

Thanks again to everyone for the information.
