I don't if many others of you frequent Bar Katy on the Pinewalk but it is one of the places we always visit. I think it is the position that really sells the place, although we have always found the food to be good.

Couldn't agree more Joanne - it's a fantastic location to sit with a cold beer and watch the world go by. Only three months to go.....:eek

Shame about the service or lack of it. as i have said before if you are certain people that stay by there you get a table reserved for you 24/7.Not a place i will go to. see the old thread about this place.

I agree about the service these days. Alawys used to be the perfect stopping off place for a relaxed hot La Mumba just before bed. Still a top location but service last year was a little 'offish'.

Still, I'd rather have slightly mediocre service on the Pine Walk than over-attentive service anywhere else in the world!

Joanne a La mumba is brandy and lacao (chocolate milk) really delicious and heavy on the brandy!!!

Can be served hot or cold but I prefer mine cold especially in the summer..a perfect night cap! Mmmmmmmmm
