Default Ostrich

Hello to everyone - I/We have been coming to PP & CSV for the last 25 years and are coming again in may to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary (no child with us - WOOHOO!) I am trying to find out if anyone knows where they serve Ostrich on the stone - we enjoyed it once in Sa Coma and have been unable to track it down since. Any information will be greatly received, other than that can anyone suggest a nice quiet restaurant suitable for a romatic meal (you gotta try eh)!

Hi mosschops!

They have ostrich on the menu at C'an Costa (in Pollensa old town) and it is delicious. Did you mean on the bone..stone?

C'an Costa is also a fantastic place for a romantic meal so hopefully it will kill two birds with one stone (whoops no pun intended..sorry ostrich !! )

Other romantic venues are Los Zarzales (in the Port ) La Trencadora or El Cantonet (Pollensa )

Happy hols

Thanks Debz, we had it - the ostrich that is - raw, the marble was brought to the table almost red hot and you cooked it yourself really nice, but that was in Sa Coma and it's along way to drive after a meal? Thanks and we'll try it in a few weeks

Default Ostrich ?

Hi Mosschops (?) ....... La Goleta , on the seafront road south of the Marina ( a wee bit along ) has had ostrich on the menu for the last few years. I always make a point of trying it coz it's excellent.

Regards, Mick

You won't get ostrich at Hostel Bahia but you will have the most spectacular view of the bay of Pollensa !! You are right on the beautiful Pine Walk with the med on your doorstep Its a very nice family run hotel ..try and get a room at the front with a sea view and you will be very happy!!
