Default Recommendations for restaurants serving Mallorcan food

Hi there. We stayed in PP for a week in May/June 2005 and loved it so much that we've booked to stay again from May 27th for another week. Last time we enjoyed eating at Don Corelone pizza place on the PW and at Tango. Both were lovely but this time I'd like to try somewhere with a traditional Mallorcan menu.

Has anyone got any recommendations? Based on what people have written on here I plan to try Balaxia and El Posito but would love to hear of any others that you'd like to recommend. Any restaurants would have to be child friendly though as our 5 year-old fussy eater will be with us!

Any ideas....?

Default Mallorcan Food

You won't go far wrong at El Posito, nice tapas and one of the best chefs in the north.

My kids have all but grown up now, but Tony always made sure he had chicken and pepper sauce for my daughter. If your kids are real fussy,it's always worthwhile popping in prior to your meal and arrange something to their liking.

Siller specialise in local produce also, but we never found them child freindy on the food front, the foods great though.

Try O Lume as well, they have a good selection of regional dishes from all over Spain.
Take care.
