Sorry to hear of your experience but I have to say I have only had positive experiences in Casa Vila with my 4 and 2 year old.

I take my own juice for the baby and this was no issue and the boys just got pizza between them which the staff had no issue with and said start with one and we can order another later if you need it.

In no way have I found this an anti child place - indeed nowhere in the Port is. I take my children to any restaurant I feel like and never feel they should not be there.

We didn't get to try it this trip after the great meal we had in January, although when we looked at the menu outside it didn't seem to have as much choice as before and it didn't sound as enticing, just our view! we will look again next time

Its their first anniversary tonight, can you believe that a year already, they are advertising wine and canapes if you are over there, hopefully free!!
