Default Sangrilla Apartments - Supermarket nearby?

We are staying at the Sangrilla apartments in the 1st week of June and want to know if there are any good local butcher's nearby? Also as we are a family with a 9month old infant can anyone recommend any bars etc that will happily accomodate us for drinks in the early evening.

Any help appreciated

Hi, If these are the apartments i'm thinking of (just behind the Pine walk/ Bellresguard area) there is a supermarket (Supermercado Formentor) just in front of the complex which was newly opened last summer. Pretty well stocked with 'tourist' prices but a very small meat counter.

Although the caprabo might be a few mins walk away,by the roundabout as you come in to the port, the stock of meat and fish is superb.

Hi All

Ideal having the shops so close, but beware of the pricing... when asked last summer why they charged more at the till for some beer than was shown on the shelf, they said, 'Beacuse it is'.

They were ready for a fight so i let it go but it has certainly curtailed my use of what is a handly little facility

Take a short stroll across the road, and walk left along the road which runs behind the pine walk to the Bonanca minimarket ....... just a tiny little shop but stocks most essentials and is run by a lovely family
