The lamb at Coral is €15.00.Make sure to get there early as they only cook 40 every night and they always sellout .The left shoulder is always the best if you can get it !!!.

As the season draws to a close, and summer subjects fade from the immediate memory I can forsee this thread extending far into the future, discussing 1) how do you tell which is left or right, or 2) why the left one tastes best. And just a bit of a bouncer, 3) is Mallorcan lamb used or could it be UK sourced?* Or in deference to Brisbane@PP, could it even be all the way from Oz?

*It’s been reported in the UK press that the current high price in UK is due to much of UK lamb being exported to the Continent causing a shortage at home.

Have you seen a leg of lamb in a Spanish supermarket? They are hugely thinner than the fat chunky UK ones. If they imported them from there, I'd be a happy bunny!

Personally I don't care where Coral get their lamb from as long as they keep getting it because it is amazing

There again you have to starve all day to be able to eat it the portions are so huge
