Default Cappuccino - you can't please everyone

You know how you hear snippets if conversation as you walk along the Pine Walk of an evening, and wonder what was said before and after the bit you heard?
A comment from one of a group of English visitors was heard as he surveyed the view across Cappuccino tables to the starlit night sky, the yachts bobbing at anchor etc - "But dahling, it's sooo Benidorm"
Two points, what would the Cappuccino PR people make of that, and I wonder what reception the Looki Looki man got as we passed and he approached?

What a pair of muppets.

Sounds as if Benidorm would suit them very well.........

LOL and your comment did make me laugh Nickpaulanoah. I remember going to Benidorm some 42 years ago, when it was described in the brochure as an upmarket resort. How things change.

Poor old Benidorm I remember having a day there during a visit to the apartment we used to have in the area - we went in February and were really pleasantly surprised - not a yobbo in sight and really relaxing and we had a lovely lunch and a wander round the old town. I can only speak for our experience but we did comment at the time that Benidorm did not deserve to be so maligned

Magaluf is similar out of season too! Especially at our breakfast time! Very quite and so much smaller than expected. Thank God though that PP has little that either Benidorm or Magaluf have to offer.

Oh yes, Eleanor, you've just reminded me - we visited Magaluf as part of a holiday in the early '70's and it was just like a little village and really pretty

Sorry - am I going off-topic now?

Oh yes indeed. Seriously though, PP is a fantastic place is'nt it? Goodness knows what those two "muppets" regard as upmarket. Perhaps a short break in the Taj Mahal followed by a coach trip to the hanging gardens of Babylon.
